Practice Makes Perfect PDF Print Email

Education?of Health Professionals?in Clinical, Community?and Simulated Settings

BCAHC?s Practice Makes Perfect (PMP) Conference was held at the Sheraton Wall Centre Vancouver from November 4-7, 2007 and included more than 500 participants from all over the world. Conference themes included:

  • Practice Simulation
  • Pedagogical Strategies for Practice Education
  • Interprofessional Education Strategies
  • Student Placement Logistics and Management
  • Building Practice Education Cultures and Capacity
  • Preceptor Development and Support
  • Enhancing Partnerships

Conference participants overwhelmingly indicated that the conference was not only an excellent opportunity to gain the knowledge they need to help advance practice education but it also aided in collaboration building by bringing together a variety of attendees from all over the world. Attendees appreciated the international flavour, excellent variety and high calibre of presenters, each bringing a unique perspective.
